Tips For Lazy Girl

Skin Care Tips For Lazy Girl

Slow your roll not calling you lazy. You’re a busy woman. We know that all week long, you’re out there kicking and taking names. All we’re saying is that somewhere between your demanding work schedule and fitness routine and your calendar full of afterhours commitments, you barely have time to think, much less go to the spa for a 3-hour facial.
Several studies, including one conducted in 2012 by the Kellogg School of Management, show that what you wear each day affects your overall performance.

                      ## Few tips for you:

***  While after a long day, all you may want to do is go home and be a lazy girl, it’s not in your best interest. The one thing you wear every day is your face, so take care of it even when all you want to do is curl up on the couch with a glass of wine and a season of House of Cards.
Here are three simple but effective tips for getting to couch potato status sooner than later without letting your skin suffer the consequences.

     ## Good use of nightstand :

** Find yourself tempted to crawl into bed before washing your face? That’s fine. Just stash a supply of your favorite face wipes and your facial moisturizer nearby. We particularly love L'OrĂ©al RevitaLift Radiant Smoothing Wet Cleansing Towelettes because they gently cleanse the skin while also removing all makeup residue.

     ## Take a warm shower.

** Some (most) like it hot. But hot water can add a lot of time to your skin-care routine later on. Rather than applying copious amounts of serious lotion throughout the day, try taking a warm shower instead of a hot one. You should still apply a little moisturizer, but you won’t be so dry that you have to resort to multiple applications all day long.

     ##  Take some special.

.Whatever your busy life may look like, chances are there are plenty of times your skin care routine has taken a backseat simply because you didn’t have your products with you. Forget to throw a moisturizer in your gym bag? Didn’t plan on spending the night at a friend or boyfriend’s house? That’s happened to the best of us, which is why you should always buy two of each of your favorite products. Keep one in your car or purse, and keep the other in your bathroom. Bonus: You’ll always have a backup should your first run out.

                                     ## Last few tips ##

*** Kellogg School of Management, show that what you wear each day affects your overall performance. Skin Care Tips for Young Girls

Skin Care Tips for Young Girls

### Let’s just pause for a moment, and take deep breaths, while I wrap my brain around that fact. Ok, I am much better now, thank you.)

Raising teens creates a whole host of topics, some of which I bull doze over, while others I have to tip toe around gently. The varying emotions that are packed into those bodies never cease to amaze me.

With that being said, understanding the issues that result from teens and their skin is a topic that I’ve dug into over the last few years. Our sons have all dealt with acne issues,  and with that comes definite self consciousness.

Yet a much more serious aspect, that I haven’t addressed here on my blog, stems from the fact that four years ago, our youngest son was diagnosed with an early stage of melanoma. Yes, skin cancer on the head, even though easily treated through surgery, was something that rocked our world, and sent us diving for every preventative measure we could find in regards to skin care.

                                 ## Start Young

I was so foolish when I was younger. I was intent on getting as tan as I could, which often meant lathering myself with baby oil and frying myself. All I knew was that I shouldn’t get so burned that I blistered, but even that advice I often disregarded. (Sigh!) For years, I was a competitive swimmer, often competing outdoors,so I even had additional exposure, and I am now paying.

The best way to keep skin healthy is to start young. Up to 80% of lasting sun damage occurs before the age of 18, and my goal as a mom is to make sure that I develop smart skin habits now with our kids so that it’s a natural habit.

Our kids hate putting on sunscreen, but if it can become part of the hygiene habit early on, just like washing the face and brushing the teeth, again, it loses its fight. Sun protection needs to occur daily, even in the winter. I admit, even I struggle with that, but now I specifically purchase products that have the SPF already included.

Choose products carefully.

Our eldest son’s acne got so bad that we saw a dermatologist for recommendations on quality products. We were willing to invest in products that made a difference.  I am much more picky for the products that I put on our children’s faces. Avoid cosmetics that will clog. Look for oil free make-up.

Since our daughters have skin I want protected, one of the things that really won me over when I looked at Willa’s product line is free of  harsh chemicals – DEA free and phthalate free,  Paraben free, Proplyene glycol free, and sulfate free.

Be Natural

I look at the picture above of  my daughter and I just love her fresh face. I know in the next year, she will begin dabbling in make up and honestly, I can’t wait.

I love experimenting with make up, but I want to teach her how to do it well and naturally. To enhance her beautiful features, not trend towards a made up doll. Too many girls hide their beautiful skin behind a load of make up, yet applying more make up to ones skin, especially if struggling with blemishes, only magnifies the problem.

Always Clean Your Skin Properly Before Bed.

This is one tips that took me years to make a habit, but it’s so important.

Your skin needs to breathe and it can’t do that if make up and bacteria stay on the surface. That can really irritate ones skin. When I was in college, I was told that one night of not removing your make up cancels two weeks of good skin care. I have no idea if that was a true statistic or not, but it made a believer out of me. I never go to bed with out at least washing my face.

Those are just a few of the Skin Care Tips for my girls that I am trying to make into habits.

Hair Happiness For Gril

Hair Happiness For Gril

*** I Love big hair, I think I  have an Inner Pageant girl inside me because the bigger hair you have the better. I've always had hair extensions since I can remember, I probably came out the womb with a Remy weave attached. Hair just makes you feel so sexy and can change any look in an instance, from a chilled messy bun to curly sue locks.
When this brand got in touch with me I couldn't resist in saying no! I love trying new hair and seeing how it reacts after washes how it curls etc, I just love trying new hair. The amount I have stored in a draw is crazy, I could make 4 peoples wigs with it.

Hair Extensions
From a hair extension lover to now a provider of amazing quality hair, Joanne provides one of the highest quality hair companies in the UK. She's now opened the door for products to be fitted at home, providing 100% Remy human hair lasting a minimum of 6 months. No knotting or matting - How amazing!

I received the parcel with super fast delivery and to my surprise they came in this gorgeous box wrapped neatly inside. I was so shocked as I'd ever had hair extensions in a box before I almost felt like royalty. Before I'd even opened the box I had already fell in love, you know a product is going to be good when the packaging is top quality. I'm quite knowledgeable with hair extensions as I've had them for around 12 years, so when I try a new brand I know what to look for to see how good it is.

       Sale Stress
I HATE Sales yet seem to go to them anyway, online & in store. I have no reason what so ever to buy things in the sale, what are last season and probably strewn all over the floor. But for some reason I have no self control and have to at least come out with something.
Even more annoying than that is somehow being given a miracle and finding an item you like, going to try it on and then it doesn't fit. You realised this before as it was a size to small, but still tried it on anyway in hoping that by breathing inand pushing your boobs to the side it will FIT! - Now its stuck on your head.

        Nothing to wear
I have nothing to wear! Yes I have a lot of clothes and can't fit any more into my wardrobe, and sadly for my boyfriend he's now down to one draw. I cant wear what I wore last week to the shops to go out in, what if someone sees me and think hasn't she got any other clothes to wear? I can't wear what I wore on that picture on Instagram AGAIN how rude would it be to wear something TWICE out in the open!
I mean really why can't we recycle our clothes in the shops - wear once take it back and swap it for something else. This is a real problem for girls and people need to understand. We don't want to wear 80 percent of our wardrobe because we have a select few clothes we love mainly black nude grey or khaki, that we can't seem to be apart from. Yet can't be seen in them twice.
Don't tell us to wear that top we brought last week because we don't even like it any more, plus we brought it in the sale and it doesn't fit!

                                                *** LUST FEW THING ***

Ends of the hair extensions - Joanne Rozalin Hair Extensions are thick to the bottom, no tapering off and thinning.
Thickness - You could easily use one set of hair extensions for a full head they are so thick!
The feel - They felt amazing I couldn't stop touching them
Styling - I tested them out by curling then straightening then curling them back again, I even washed them and they STILL remained like brand new.

Many topical non-prescription and prescription products are currently available for anti-aging purposes, including.

## Tretinoin (Retin-A® and Renova®) — Retin-A is a prescription medication initially developed to treat acne. In addition, it was discovered that it also improved skin texture and color when used over an extended period of time. Tretinoin exfoliates the skin (removes a dead layer of skin cells), helps even out pigmentation, and minimizes fine lines. Many people can benefit from using Tretinoin or related products at bedtime. Side effects of Tretinoin include redness, peeling, tightness, and swelling. You may be able to minimize these side effects by initially using Tretinoin every other night and then gradually increasing the frequency to nightly as tolerated. Tretinoin also makes the skin more sensitive to ultraviolet rays from the sun, and therefore we recommend the use of a broad-spectrum sunscreen each morning.

     ## Hydroquinone — Hydroquinone is a bleaching agent that is used to remove hyperpigmentation (skin darkening), such as age spots and dark spots related to pregnancy, hormone therapy, or excessive sun exposure. Thats is  The Best Facial Skin Care.

The Solutions Of Dry Skin

                                             The Solutions Of Dry Skin

Skin is a very importent  thing of body. Everyone allways busy to care his skin.Your skin is 70% water, and many skin problems are associated with dry skin. That is why many skin preparations are made, using the concept of preventing moisture from leaving the skin. They therefore use occlusive agents, that is ingredients that clog your pores, thus theoretically sealing moisture in.

Your skin consists of two distinct layers: The outer layer, the epidermis, consists of dry mature cells and forms the protective layer. The inner layer or dermis consists of collagen. This gives the skin strength and flexibility. The dermis also contains the sweat glands, nerves, blood capillaries hair follicles and sebaceous glands. We have many solutions of dry skin.

Your skin is an important, vital, living, dynamic organ without which you could not survive. Among its many functions, it regulates your body temperature, and through its more than 2,000,000 sweat pores, is an organ of excretion. Your skin should also be allowed to breathe.

*** You should use some product for solutions of dry skin.  Those are show on bloewe:

  ## Petrolatum:      Petroleum products such as Vaseline, etc., do not penetrate your skin, but sit on the surface blocking natural respiration, excretion, and absorption of other nutrients. It is also an occlusive agent, and should be avoided.

  ## Mineral Oil: A mixture of refined liquid hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. Mineral oil is the stabilizing ingredient of many skin care products. Mineral oil forms an occlusive film on your skin, blocking your pores, and interfering with normal skin respiration. It may, therefore, not only harm your skin but be a contributing cause of blemishes. If you use those product you look like:

## Lanolin: Derived from sheep wool, Lanolin is a common lubricating ingredient in many cosmetics and creams. In addition t being occlusive, it has been proven to cause allergic reactions in skin of sensitive people.

  ## Solvent: Solvent alcohols in the form of propyl of isopropyp are drying to your skin. This one must be help you to dry solutions of skin.

## Collagen: This animal product is added to cosmetics as a moisturizing agent. The molecules are too large to penetrate your skin. They therefore clog your pores, and in some cases cause allergic reactions.

*** Why is this so important to dry skin solutions?

###
###  You see, your skin is 70% water. Sebum, your skin's own natural lubricating oil, functions to lubricate your skin and prevent it from drying out. This natural protection breaks down with many skin problems, and also as you get older. Women especially, experience an estimated 32% reduction per decade in sebum production, after age 20. Do you understand now why everything you have tried for your dry skin has not worked, and why Stevens Skin Softener Cream will? Try It!!!

Rather than using occlusive agents that clog your pores to prevent moisture from leaving your skin, Stevens Skin Softener Cream is designed to put moisture into your skin.

For this it uses Jojoba oil, Apricot kernel oil, Almond oil, Purcelin oil, Avocado oil and Squalene. Not only do these natural oils take moisture deep into your skin, but Jojoba, Avocado and Almond oils have the same consistency and molecular structure as sebum, your skin's own natural lubricating oil. They therefore also serve to lubricate your skin. The jury is still out on such chemicals as Retin A, Retinol, and Alpha Hydroxy Acids. A prudent approach is to avoid their use, especially now that something better safer, and more in tune with your skin's normal physiology, is available.

You want to enhance the beauty of your face to make the best possible first impression — and so you feel like your best self. In addition to following a good skincare routine, we have many helpful beauty tips for your face.

   ## Having radiant skin makes you the picture of good health and it brightens your entire complexion. Instead of a matte face powder, which can accentuate lines and dry patches, choose a powder with a radiant finish. This will have your skin looking more youthful, while giving an airbrushed look. Search for powders with “radiant” or “luminous” in the name and they will set your makeup while leaving a soft focus glow.

    ## Picture a beautiful painting–a stunning piece of artwork needs to have a beautiful frame. Nothing less will do.  Now think of your face as that piece of art. Your eyebrows are like picture frames.  Having well groomed brows will showcase your entire face and play up your features. See a brow specialist to have your brows shaped professionally and then you can do the upkeep at home. Look for an eyebrow kit with wax-based products to define and groom your brows each morning when you do your makeup.

   ## Did you know that by simply taking a moment to curl your eyelashes that you can make your eyes look wider, brighter, and younger?  This is an often-overlooked step in the morning beauty routine, but it can make a huge difference in the appearance of your eye area. Curl your lashes every morning and then sweep on two coats of a jet-black volumizing mascara.

   ## A clean, white smile instantly takes yours off your face and can help brighten your eyes and complexion.  Even though you brush and floss and take good care of your teeth, they naturally become more yellow by consuming drinks like coffee, tea, or red wine. There are many home kits to easily whiten your teeth in as little as two hours that work as well as expensive bleaching procedures at the dentist.  Teeth whitening is an important step in your overall beauty routine.

 ## I've been use product form an years already, and will keep using further, as it provides great results for me. I'm not big on make-up usage. The only products I use on everyday basis are this particular powder, blush and mascara. I don't like complete coverage for the skin - on a daily basis. Do it only for fancy evening outings. And with this powder my skin looks more even, but still "alive". There is no clogging or smudging. It gives light, but sufficient coverage. I have two shades - lighter one for "winter", and darker one for "summer". Both perform great.

How To Cure Of Lip Balm

How To Cure Of  Lip Balm

***  It is something we all use from an early age when we have our first experience with chapped lips.  Lip balms come in all types of formulations and price ranges nowadays, many with treatment benefits.  Since this is a product that sits on your lips, ingredients matter.  Let’s take a look at the best lip balms available so your lips will stay smooth and supple.

    # Milk Sweet Cream Lip Balm.

This tastes like a vanilla cupcake without the calories.  It is luscious and feels divine on the lips.  Not only it is pretty to look at, but it makes my lips feel like satin.Aloe vera is calming and soothing, making it the ideal lip balm for people with sensitive, sore skin on their lips.  Sunflower seed oil is present in this balm, which acts as an emollient and moisturizes chapped and broken skin.you’ll love this lip balm from Tokyo Milk.  This product is also for those who like beautiful packaging.  The packaging on this lip balm is just as fabulous as the actual product, making it truly gift worthy.

   # Acure for A Cure Lip Balm:

I have tried several products from this company and have adored them all.  This lip balm is no exception.  My lips are extremely dry in the winter and often crack.  This balm truly nourishes my lips, leaving them feeling soft and well cared for.  This balm also tastes fabulous!  With natural cocoa powder and mint essential oils, it tastes almost like a decadent chocolate mint candy bar. What I like most, though, is the fact that 100% of the purchase price of this lip balm goes directly to breast cancer research.Acure also uses healing ingredients such as cocoa butter, beeswax, and olive oil to make this a wonderfully soothing and conditioning balm.

   # Kiss Me Tonight:

This isn’t your typical lip balm that you toss in your bag and apply throughout the day without giving it a thought.  When I use this, I treat it in the same manner I would a high end anti-wrinkle cream. This is skin care for the lips. I like that this comes in a jar instead of a tube. This product also leaves lips looking fresh and rosy.  The balm only needs to be used sparingly at night, so this isn’t one you need to reapply every few hours for maximum benefit.Castor oil is known for being a stellar emollient.  Shea butter adds moisture, while Vitamin A helps to reduce lines. Natural beet root extract leaves lips with a subtle hint of rose to give them a healthy appearance. This is a lovely lip balm for those who are willing to splurge.  At $20 each, this is 4 to 5 times the cost of standard lip balm, so this would be considered a luxury item.  If you want a high-end product that delivers a rosy sheen to your lips, this is a wonderful option.

Just few tips for Cure Of  Lip Balm: If you have been looking for a high quality vegan lip balm, consider your search over.  It is extremely rare for vegans to find a lip balm since so many contain beeswax.  This product is 100% vegan.  For those needing to avoid it, this product is also gluten-free.

How To Reduce Dark Circles Under The Eyes

How To Reduce Dark Circles Under The Eyes

*** Dark circles under the eyes  is a major problem spacilly for woman. Thats look a man diffarent from other woman. If you ask almost any sleep-deprived college student or mother of small children what bothers her the most about her skin, she will tell you that it is her dark undereye circles. Sleep deprivation is only one cause of dark circles, though.

We mentioned sleep deprivation earlier. If you are chronically tired, you are more likely to suffer from dark circles. Other causes include seasonal allergies such as hay fever, having very fair skin, dehydration, anemia, and sun exposure. More serious health issues causing fluid retention also can contibute to the appearance of dark undereye circles.

Taking a two-step approach using both skincare and makeup products is necessary for treating dark circles.

    # Makeup tips for dark cricles

Look for an eye cream with Vitamin K as a leading ingredient. Vitamin K is often recommended because it can help to fade the dark color and reduce the puffiness that is often associated with dark undereye circles.

Retinol is also recommended because it not only has the ability to help with the discoloration, but it also can help reduce the dryness.

Hyaluronic Acid and Amino Acids are also recommended for dark circles because they have been shown to boost levels of collagen which takes away from that “hollow” look under the eyes that so many people with dark circles suffer from.

     # Skincare tips for dark criclas

Years ago, the top recommendation for covering dark circles was to find a yellow concealer. We now know that this actually accentuates the problem. Avoid the thick yellow concealers.

Finding an undereye concealer with brightening properties is the best solution. You also want it to be a shade very similar to your skin tone. If it is lighter, it will only give the appearance of a light ring around the eyes. Products labeled “luminizing”, “brightening” or “light diffusing” work best to conceal dark circles.

Brush-on and roll-on concealers are the best formulas for dark circles because they apply seamelessly and will not accentuate darkness.

     # Home remedies for dark cricleas

Apply damp mint leaves to the undereye area to soothe dryness or puffiness.

You can also apply tomato paste to the undereye area helps to increase brightness in the skin, which may help improve the darkness.

Drink 6-8 glasses of water daily. Not only is this good for your health, but it can help to fade the dark circles since you won’t be dehydrated

***  We thing this is a great solution for Dark Circles Under The Eyes. If any one maintain those rule, he must  Reduce Dark Circles Under The Eyes.

How to Take Care of Brown

How to Take Care of Brown

   Overview,
Before you take care of the brown patches in your lawn, you must know what is causing the problem and ways to treat it. This might not be the easiest task to do, but with a little investigation, you can find out what is causing the problem so that you will know what must be done. Just planting new grass seeds might not be the answer if there is an underlying condition.

Step 1

Over-fertilizing one area of the grass will cause a brown patch. To fix this problem, you will need to wait for about one month for the excess nitrogen to filter out of the soil and plant new grass seed. You will need to use a starter fertilizer when you plant the grass seed to add nutrients to the soil.

Step 2

Keep dogs off the same spot of the lawn to prevent brown spots. If the dog does insist on urinating in the same spot, use a watering hose to water down the spot after each time to dilute the nitrogen in the urine. If the grass does not grow back, remove the brown grass, put down some starter fertilizer and sow some grass seed down.

Step 3

Walking on the same area of grass over time can make the grass turn brown. This is especially true in the winter months. To fix this problem, you should aerate the ground. Golf shoes will work well for this process. Walk around on the area and make holes in the soil.

Step 4

Water can be another problem. Overwatering or too much rain can rot the roots of the grass. Use a hard rake to remove the brown grass, put down some starter fertilizer, and sow some grass seed. Make sure that you don't over water the grass again. If the water problem is from something other than rain or overwatering, the problem must be fixed before reseeding.

Step 5

Attack of a fungus can cause round brown patches in the lawn. The ring will surround healthy grass. The fungus can live in the ground for years, but when the lawn becomes stressed, it attacks. Regular watering and proper fertilizing will eliminate the fungus and allow the grass to grow.

What to do if the leaves are turning yellow?

The two most common reasons for yellow leaves are:
1. High chlorine in the water. A common problem for Lucky Bamboo plants are chlorine. Tap water contains chlorine that are not good for your plant. It can cause brown tip or cause the leaves to turn yellow. If you continue to use the water, the yellowing will continue to spread.
Solution: Try using bottled water of filtered water. If you can not afford it, you can fill a container with tap water and let it sit 24 hours. This will eliminated most of the chlorine from the water.

2. Plant exposed to direct sunlight. If you have the window blinds open or have a ceiling sky light, the bamboo may be expose to sunlight when the sun shift while you are at work or away from the plant.
Solution: Move it to a different location you know for sure does not have any direct sunlight. Your plant does not required any light from the sun. It will be fine with light source from your the light bulb and lamps.

Common questions from our Frequently Asked Questions
Question: Should I use bottled water or tap water?

Use distilled water or bottled water. The chlorine that is in your tap water will cause the tip of the leaves to turn brown. If you must use tap water, you can eliminated most of the chlorine and chemical from the water by letting it sit 24 hours before adding it to the plant.
Question: Should I use rocks or soil?
Planting lucky bamboo in soil will required more frequent watering than unsoiled lucky bamboo.  We prefer to use rocks because it requires less maintenance.
Question: Can a frozen bamboo survive?
A frozen lucky bamboo will not survive. After it thaws, the bamboo will feel like rubber and eventually turn soggy and die.
Question: Why does the leaf turn brown and looks dried up?
Most likely, the lucky bamboo is expose to direct sunlight. The direct sunlight is too strong for the plant and will burn the leaves.  If your plant has burn leaves, you can trim the brown section of the leaf with a pair of scissors or carefully pluck the leaf.

How to Look Attractive (Guys)

                                   How to Look Attractive (Guys)

You can't control your genes or your basic physical traits, but you can control how you use what you've got. Being attractive is a combination of several different factors, including grooming, personality, and style. Whether you're simply looking to amp up your existing sex appeal, or are completely at a loss as to where to begin, there are simple changes you can make to become more attractive.

  1. Grooming;-
The easiest and most basic thing you can do to be more appealing is practicing good hygiene. Looking clean and smelling good will make people subconsciously want to be nearer to you. Use these steps to develop a daily routine, thats help you Look Attractive.

  2.          Find a hairstyle that works for you. Ask your friends what they think. And next time your have your hair cut, ask your hairdresser's advice on hair styles; also ask whether you should comb it or blow-dry it. You might have to experiment a bit to find out what hairstyle best suits your face and your style, but eventually you'll settle into a look that works for you. Consider these options:
  • Part your hair. You can part your hair down the middle, to the side, or not at all. Try it a few different ways and see what you like.
  • Comb your hair in one direction, instead of parting, you can try combing the top of your hair in one way. If it's particularly short, try combing it forward; if its longer, you could comb it back or spike it up. Again, try out some different styles for Look Attractive.
  • If you have longer hair, you can try pulling it back in a ponytail, styling it so that it lands in front of your face, or combing back and tying up just the top section.
  •

    3.   Use hair products (optional). You don't have to use product to style your hair, but many men do. It can help your hair look shinier and healthier, as well as providing more hold and control. Here are some common products used to style men's hair:
  • Serums or creams. These can help you tame fly-aways or de-frizz curls without making your hair stiff and immovable. Thats make you Look Attractive.
  • Mousse. Use hair mousse to add volume and shine to your hair, with minimal hold. For best results, apply to wet hair and allow to dry.
  • Pomade, hair wax or hair clay. Use these products to mold your hair in to difficult-to-achieve shapes, such as pompadours or curls (for naturally straight hair). Be aware that it can take several washes to remove these products, so apply them lightly. A pea-sized amount should be plenty if you have short, medium or thin hair. Use pomade or hair wax for a shiny, wet look; use hair clay for a matte, natural tone.
  • Gel. Unlike pomade, gel contains alcohol that dries out hair and makes for a stiffer hold. For the strongest hold, apply gel to wet hair.
  • Hair glue. Ever wonder how some people get their mohawks to stand straight up? They're probably using some variation of hair glue, which provides the strongest possible hold. Be wary of product build-up, and wash hair thoroughly.
  • Ask your hairdresser's advice! They will know what doesn't look good.
   4.    Wash your hair often. Washing hair every day works for most guys, but you could stretch it to every other day if your hair is particularly dry.
  • Find a shampoo and conditioner that are designed for your hair type - dry, greasy, etc.
  • Buy separate shampoo and conditioner - products that combine shampoo and conditioner don't work as well
  • Ask your hairdresser's advice - they are experts! If you buy shampoo and conditioner from them, they may be more expensive than regular ones, but are probably higher quality.
    5.    Figure out which colors look good on you. The right color will make your skin look awesome, while the wrong one can make it look washed out and sallow. Again, ask advice from a friend! Here are some basic tests to try:
  • Determine whether you look better in white or off-white. Try holding a stark white shirt up to your face, then an off-white shirt. If you're like most people, you'll look notably better next to one or the other. Once you figure it out, stick to what works.
  • Determine whether you look better in black or brown. This one isn't as clear-cut as white, but some people look notably better in black over brown, and vice versa. When you settle on one, don't mix the colors — for instance, don't wear brown shoes and a brown belt with black dress trousers. Wear black shoes, black pants, and a black belt, or all brown.
  • Try to figure out if you prefer "warm" or "cool" colors. Cool colors are generally based on blues, purples, dark greens, and blue-based reds, while warm colors are based on yellows, oranges, browns, and yellow-based reds. An easy way to figure this out is to find something that's blue-red, and something that's yellow-red, and hold them up to your face. Which one looks better with your skin tone? (If you need more help determining warm and cool colors, search online for a color wheel that demonstrates this.)
   6.    Know how to carry a conversation. Being a competent conversationalist can help people feel more at-ease and relaxed around you. Know how to casually inquire about how someone is doing, and let that lead into other topics of conversation. Ask open-ended questions (for example, instead of saying "Do you have any plans this weekend?", which can be answered with a simple yes or no, ask "What are you up to this weekend?"), and stay away from contentious topics such as politics and religion.
  • To sharpen your conversational skills, try striking up a chat with a stranger next time you're waiting around in public, such as at a bus stop or in line at the grocery store. If you can get a genuine smile and a few lines of conversation out of the other person, you're doing well.

How to Decode Your Skin

                                             How to Decode Your Skin

Basic;    Tackling a skincare regime is tricky enough without trying to translate all the ingredients and science jargon on our product labels. But since knowing what goes on our bodies should be as important as knowing what goes in them, we recruited skincare expert Sunday Riley to school us on the basics.

             1.    But remember that size (or rather, amount) isn't everything.
"On the other hand, certain active ingredients only need to be present at .5 to one percent in order to be the most effective, so a little goes a long way! And because so little of the active is needed, it goes at the end of the list."
2.    "Ingredients are listed in descending order, starting with the largest amount in the product (usually water). If a product touts a particular ingredient but it is listed near the end of the list, then not much of that ingredient is present."
3.  Be wary that some ingredients can be disguised as others.
"There are some newer preservatives that also act as a masking agent. That means brands can list the preservative as a 'fragrance' in the ingredient listing, and make it look like the product is preservative free."
4.  It's not just about the SPF number—choose your sunscreen based on ingredients as well.
"Not all sunscreens are created equal! Chemical and physical sunscreens work in different ways, so always use a physical sunblock, which acts as a barrier on skin to reflect UV rays. [Editor's note: learn more about the distinction between the two here.] Chemical ingredients instead absorb UV rays, can be hormone disruptors, and most are not photostable (meaning they degrade in the presence of UV light)."
5.   An acne-treating product might not say "acne" for regulation reasons, but that doesn't mean it won't get the job done.
"The FDA regulates acne treatments, and treats them as over-the-counter drugs. The minute you use the word 'acne' or 'blemish' on your product, you have to put an FDA drug fact panel on your box. You must also include specific active ingredients, like salicylic acid at defined percentage rates, which the FDA recognizes for treatment of acne. Companies get around this by using the word 'clarifying.'"
6.  . Know THIS about the oil craze:
"Oils are hot right now in skincare, but remember: Oils oxidize quickly (and at different rates, depending on the type of oil), meaning your expensive treat may actually have gone bad and is certainly no longer doing what it promised." (Opt for "cold-pressed" products when possible, which last longer.)"
7.   As the founder of an eponymous luxury skincare line favored on runways ranging from Stella McCartney to Jason Wu to The Row, Riley knows the importance of choosing the healthiest, most high-quality ingredients and production processes. Here, she shares her tips on how to see through marketing trickery, why shopping for sunscreen isn't just about an SPF number.

Tips for Taking Care of Your Skin

Tips for Taking Care of Your Skin

***       Sometimes it may  indicate  like your skin is impossible to manage, particularly, when you wake up and find a huge zit on your nose or a cold sore at the corner of your mouth. The good news is that there are ways to  prevent and treat common skin problems. So every need to maintain some rules and routine at same stage.

                   ***  Acne  ----
A pimple starts when the pores in the skin become clogged with a type of oil called sebum, which normally lubricates the skin and hair. Acne is common during puberty when hormones go into overdrive, causing the skin to overproduce sebum. Because many oil-producing glands are on the forehead, nose, and chin, this area — the T-zone — is where a person is most prone to pimples.

*Here are some tips to help prevent breakouts and clear them up as fast as possible:

  • Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide.
  • Don't pop pimples. It's tempting, but here's why you shouldn't: Popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling and redness, and even scarring. If you notice a pimple coming before a big event, like the prom, a dermatologist can often treat it for you with less risk of scarring or infection.
  • Avoid touching your face with your fingers or leaning your face on objects that collect sebum and skin residue like your phone. Touching your face can spread the bacteria that cause pores to become inflamed and irritated. To keep bacteria at bay, wash your hands before applying anything to your face, such as treatment creams or makeup.

  • If you wear glasses or sunglasses, make sure you clean them frequently to keep oil from clogging the pores around your eyes and nose.
  • If you get acne on your body, try not to wear tight clothes. They don't allow skin to breathe and may cause irritation. Scarves, headbands, and caps can collect dirt and oil, too.
  • Remove your makeup before you go to sleep. When buying makeup, make sure you choose brands that say "noncomedogenic" or "nonacnegenic" on the label. Throw away old makeup that smells or looks different from when you first bought it.
  • Keep hair clean and out of your face to prevent additional dirt and oil from clogging your pores.
  • Protect your skin from the sun. It may seem like a tan masks acne, but it's only temporary. A tan may worsen your acne, not improve it. Tanning also causes damage to skin that will eventually lead to wrinkles and increase your risk of skin cancer.
                    ***   Sun and Skin ---

  • Wear sunscreen with a sun protection factor (SPF) of at least 15, even if it's cloudy or you don't plan on spending a lot of time outdoors. If you sweat a lot or go swimming, reapply sunscreen every 1½ to 2 hours (even if the bottle says the sunscreen is waterproof).
  • Choose a sunscreen that blocks both UVA and UVB rays. Look for the words "broad spectrum protection" or UVA protection in addition to the SPF of 15 or greater. Select a sunscreen that says "nonacnegenic" or "noncomedogenic" on the label to help keep pores clear.
  • The sun's rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., so reapply sunscreen frequently and take breaks indoors if you can. If your shadow is longer than you are tall, then it's a safer time to be in the sun (you should still wear sunscreen, though).
  • Apply more sunscreen (with higher SPF) when you're around reflective surfaces like water, snow, or ice.
  • We all know that the sun can damage skin, but did you know it can contribute to eye problems, too? Protect your face and eyes with a hat and sunglasses that provide 100% UV protection.
  • Some medications, such as prescription acne medications, can increase your sensitivity to the sun (and to tanning beds). So if you're taking medication, increase your sun protection.
                ***  Cold Sores ---

  • Avoid getting cold sores in the first place by not sharing stuff like lip balm, toothbrushes, or drinks with other people who might have cold sores. The virus that causes cold sores is transmitted through the nose (in mucus) and the mouth (in saliva).
  • People who have the virus know that cold sores can flare up from things like too much sun, stress, or being sick. Just one more reason to lather on that suntan lotion, eat well, exercise, and get plenty of sleep!
If you do have a cold sore, here are some tips for keeping yourself comfortable:
  • Take acetaminophen or ibuprofen if the cold sores are painful.
  • Suck on ice pops or cubes to ease pain and keep cold sores cool.
  • Stay away from acidic foods (like oranges, tomatoes, and lemonade) and salty, spicy foods, which can cause irritation.
  • Don't pick at cold sores while you're waiting for them to go away. They may bleed or become infected with bacteria or you could spread the virus.
                ***    Other Skin Problems ---
*Warts are tiny skin infections caused by viruses of the humanpapilloma virus (HPV) family. There's no way to prevent wartsfrom occurring (other than avoiding contact with people who havethem). But if you do get them, don't rub, pick, or scratch thembecause you can spread the virus and get new warts.

Some over-the-counter medications containing special acids canhelp get rid of warts, but it's always a good idea to see yourdoctor before trying one. If you find warts in your genital area,you should see your doctor, who can recommend the besttreatment method for that sensitive area.

Another type of wart-like viral infection is molluscumcontagiosum. (It's not as scary as its name sounds!) Like warts,it can be transmitted through scratching and sexual contact.
Because our skin is the most visible reflection of what's going on in our bodies, people equate healthy skin with beauty. But healthy skin is about more than just good looks; it's essential to our survival. So keep your skin glowing with the right skin care techniques and by eating well and getting lots of exercise.
